Peoplehood Papers

Developing Teen Leadership with a Peoplehood Orientation:

What Does It Take and Where Do We Start?

The Center for Jewish Peoplehood Education

Building collective Jewish life through education.

The Peoplehood Papers provides a platform for Jews to discuss their common agenda and key issues related to their collective identity. The journal appears three times a year, with each issue addressing a specific theme. The editors invite you to share your thoughts on the ideas and discussions in the Papers, as well as all matters pertinent to Jewish Peoplehood: publications@jpeoplehood.org

The Center for Jewish Peoplehood Education has dedicated issue 16 to the memory of Helen Diller, z”l, who passed away in January 2015. Helen was a pioneer in Jewish teen leadership development and her great contribution will live through the flourishing of the field. For all of us involved with the Diller Teen Fellows program, this conversation goes to the root of our mission and the essence of our work. We are excited to learn from our contributors’ perspectives, and to thinking more about how we can inspire teen commitment to Jewish Peoplehood in action.
